Sunday at Copper Coast

Only at Copper Coast

  • What makes Futures Church Copper Coast special is the genuine sense of community and family people experience when they walk through the doors. We’re a relaxed, authentic church where people know each other by name, genuinely care for one another, and love doing life together beyond just Sunday services.
  • We have a strong love for the Word of God, passionate worship, and creating space for people to grow deeply in their faith while still feeling completely welcome and comfortable. We also love gathering around food, conversation, and community, with regular shared meals and moments that help church feel personal, warm, and connected.
  • At the heart of our campus is a desire to see people encounter Jesus, build lasting friendships, and find a church family they can truly belong to.

Kids · Copper Coast

Bring the kids. They'll love it.

Our Kids Church caters for children from 1 year old through to Year 6, with age-specific groups designed to help kids feel safe, engaged, and have fun while learning about Jesus. Each Sunday includes games, worship, Bible teaching, activities, crafts, and small group connection in a fun, energetic, and family-focused environment. Our heart is that every child would feel known, loved, and excited to come to church. Our Kids Church is run by a trusted team of trained volunteers, all of whom hold current Working With Children Checks.

Youth at this campus

Youth

Dreamers Youth is a fun, faith-filled community for high school students to build friendships, ask real questions, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Every Friday night is packed with games, connection, worship, conversations, and moments that help young people feel known, encouraged, and part of something bigger than themselves. Our heart is to create a safe and welcoming environment where teenagers can have fun, be themselves, and encounter God in a genuine way alongside great leaders and friends who care about them.

New to church?

Our hope is that people quickly feel a genuine sense of family and belonging when they come to Futures Church Copper Coast. We want new people to meet others who genuinely care, get to know the pastors and team, and feel comfortable exploring faith at their own pace. As people settle in, we encourage them to build friendships, join a Connect Group, and become part of the life of the church in a way that feels natural and meaningful to them.

Class
We regularly create opportunities for new people to connect into the life of church, including relaxed community dinners and gatherings throughout the year where people can meet others and get to know the church family.

Just said yes to Jesus?

When someone makes a decision to follow Jesus, our heart is to help them feel supported, encouraged, and connected into the life of church. We help new Christians build relationships with pastors and leaders, encourage consistent church community, connect them into Connect Groups, and create opportunities for one-on-one discipleship conversations as they grow in faith.

Foundations
We regularly run “This is Christianity”, a four-week course designed to help people explore the foundations of the Christian faith, ask questions, and grow in their understanding of Jesus in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Led by
Shannon & Courtney Langberg, alongside our pastoral team and Connect Group leaders.

From Shannon & Courtney

Shannon grew up in the Adelaide Hills, while Courtney grew up in suburban Sydney. They met at a young adults church service in Sydney, and their shared love for Jesus, people, and the local church has been a big part of their story ever since. Shannon completed a degree in Aviation Science before going on to study at Bible College, while Courtney studied Teaching and Arts. Today, they live on the Copper Coast with their two children, Maveric and Hadley. Together, they are passionate about family, marriage, and building a church that feels like home. Their heart is to see people of every age and stage encounter Jesus, build real friendships, and discover the hope and purpose God has for their life
