Ashley Evans
Global Senior Pastor
Ashley started preaching at nineteen and, with Jane, took on the church at Paradise in 2000 — in a declining season. He didn’t just turn it around. In the middle of the rebuild, God met him in a profound encounter with one word that re-ordered everything: multiplication. Not growth by addition — multiplication.
A spiritual entrepreneur, he has never been afraid to launch what doesn’t exist yet. In 2001 he founded Family First, an Australian political party — not a Christian party, a family-values one — that saw numerous senators elected to parliament. After five years leading and establishing it, he stepped away and built a string of entrepreneurial ventures.
In 2012 he moved to the United States to begin the international multiplication model with just eight people — his family and two young leaders. The first gathering: thirteen people in a lounge room in Buford, Georgia. Today the Futures family is nineteen thousand people across twenty-one campuses in four nations, with four more campuses launching in Venezuela — and the increase of the last few years has been exponential.
Ashley is a futurist — instinctively ahead of the curve — and his wisdom is recognised by leaders across the world. He served the wider church for fourteen years as a national director across a movement of more than a thousand churches, and for ten years as a state president. He is the author of four books — including Multiply or Die and No More Fear — and holds an honorary doctorate from Alphacrucis University. He sees his role simply: a protector and propagator of the gospel and the church worldwide. The vision: two hundred campuses, ten thousand leaders, two hundred thousand souls. And it’s just the beginning.
