GLOBAL SENIOR PASTORS

Ashley & Jane Evans.

Ashley Evans

Ashley Evans

Global Senior Pastor

Ashley started preaching at nineteen and, with Jane, took on the church at Paradise in 2000 — in a declining season. He didn’t just turn it around. In the middle of the rebuild, God met him in a profound encounter with one word that re-ordered everything: multiplication. Not growth by addition — multiplication.

A spiritual entrepreneur, he has never been afraid to launch what doesn’t exist yet. In 2001 he founded Family First, an Australian political party — not a Christian party, a family-values one — that saw numerous senators elected to parliament. After five years leading and establishing it, he stepped away and built a string of entrepreneurial ventures.

In 2012 he moved to the United States to begin the international multiplication model with just eight people — his family and two young leaders. The first gathering: thirteen people in a lounge room in Buford, Georgia. Today the Futures family is nineteen thousand people across twenty-one campuses in four nations, with four more campuses launching in Venezuela — and the increase of the last few years has been exponential.

Ashley is a futurist — instinctively ahead of the curve — and his wisdom is recognised by leaders across the world. He served the wider church for fourteen years as a national director across a movement of more than a thousand churches, and for ten years as a state president. He is the author of four books — including Multiply or Die and No More Fear — and holds an honorary doctorate from Alphacrucis University. He sees his role simply: a protector and propagator of the gospel and the church worldwide. The vision: two hundred campuses, ten thousand leaders, two hundred thousand souls. And it’s just the beginning.

Jane Evans

Global Senior Pastor

Jane is a pastor, author, and the founder of bU Women — the movement inside Futures that trains and releases women leaders across four countries — and the founder of Futures Leadership College, a degree-level program for leaders and church planters with colleges in the USA, Australia, and soon Indonesia.

She has been on staff at Futures for thirty years, pastoring alongside Ashley since they became the senior pastors in 2000. She speaks at conferences across Australia, the US, the UK, and Asia, and mentors a wide circle of emerging female leaders year-round.

On a platform she is unmistakable — a powerful, prophetic preacher who is also hilarious. Her teaching is marked by scripture, honesty, humour, power, and an allergy to performative faith.

More than anything, Jane raises people. As Ashley’s co-leader she has inspired campus pastors, their wives, and women throughout the church to rise into leadership — to be bold and full of authority while never losing their femininity. Ask any Futures pastor who they call — and who their wife calls — when they need wise advice and direction, and Jane’s name comes up first.

Jane is the mother of three adult sons — all of them now in ministry, serving God in different parts of the world — and the glam-ma of seven.
