Victor Harbor — Hayborough

A word from Stuart & Kelly

Hey there, I'm Stu, and on behalf of our whole Futures Victor Harbor family; we are so excited to meet you. Whether you've been following Jesus your whole life or you're just curious and checking things out, you've landed in the right place. We love Jesus, we love each other, and we love this community on the South Coast. My heart is to see people grow, not just on a Sunday, but in the everyday stuff of life. That's why we do this together. So grab a coffee, say hi to someone, and don't be a stranger. We'd love for this to feel like home.

Your first Sunday

What to expect at Victor Harbor.

We're a local church on the beautiful South Coast of South Australia. Our heart is pretty simple, shine to the light of Jesus to the whole South Coast. We're just a bunch of people who love Jesus and love people. We believe that faith was never meant to be a once-a-week thing; it's meant to be lived out loud, together, every single day. Community is kind our thing. We've got Connect Groups where real friendships are built, and people grow together! Think fortnightly catch-ups with 10-15 people, sharing life, praying for each other, and having a good time together. We also love getting out into the Victor Harbor region and making a difference: serving, caring, and showing up for the people around us. We're a growing, vibrant church and there's genuinely a place for you here, no matter where you're at in life. We believe the church is a home for everyone, from any background and for every demographic.

We're a life-giving church in Victor Harbor; growing together, and shining the light of Jesus to the South Coast.

Sunday at Victor Harbor

Only at Victor Harbor

  • What Makes Us, Us? Honestly? It's the people. There's something genuinely special about the Victor Harbor community, and that shows up in our church. When you walk through the door, you're not just attending a service; you're stepping into a family that'll remember your name, check in on you, and do life with you well beyond Sunday. That's not something we manufactured, it's just who we are, and we're proud of it.
  • And when it comes to Sundays, expect the Word of God to come alive in a way that actually makes sense for your everyday life. Ps Stu has a gift for taking the Bible, and unpacking it in a way that's real, relatable, and genuinely useful for whatever you're walking through right now. No fluff, no religious jargon, just truth that you can take home and actually do something with.

Kids · Victor Harbor

Bring the kids. They'll love it.

Our Kids church runs every Sunday morning. We have programs for walking toddlers up to year 6. It is run by Kelly Green and an amazing team of trained volunteers. We believe that kids church is about discipling the next generation and teaching them the foundations of our faith, in a way that they can understand. Kids church is fun and interactive, where kids can feel safe, grow and be equipped fir their futures!

From Stuart & Kelly

Stu didn't grow up in a Christian family. He was invited to our Youth group at 12 years old where he gave his heart to Jesus. This began an incredible journey of growth in God. Stu felt the call to ministry at 16 and did bible college straight out of school. He started serving in the youth ministry and eventually stepped onto team as a Youth Pastor in 2017. He has been a part of our Salisbury campus, helped plant our Mount Barker Campus and took on the church in Victor Harbor with Kelly in 2023. Kelly grew up in a ministry family, where her Mum and Dad were pastors in a local church in Mount Barker. She gave her heart to the Lord at 10 years old and has been passionate about Jesus ever since. After feeling lead by God, she stepped out of her family church in 2019, and joined our church plant in Mount Barker. It was here that her and Stu met, started dating and eventually got married in 2022. Stu and Kelly's lives both reflect the love of God and how God is a good Father. While they have both walked through personal challenges, God has always shown that he is faithful in every season. They believe in stepping out in faith, even when it seems a little ridiculous. This has lead to so many stories of God coming through, and seeing incredible miracles. You'll have to ask them more about those stories when you meet them.
